Further Education and Training (FET) Support is one of the three directorates within ETBI and is responsible for supporting the ETB sector across five strategic areas of Work-based Learning, Quality, Active Inclusion, Strategy & Policy and Planning, Resources & Reporting.
FET Forum Groups
The Work of the FET forum is supported by five strategy groups which engage collaboratively to support the ETB sector.
The Work-based Learning Strategy Group is an ETBI group established to support collaboration amongst ETBs.
This strategy group has a number of networks which contribute to the work of the FET Forum including the Training Centre Management Network, Apprenticeship Management Network, and Support to Apprentices Group.
Supporting the work of the FET Forum and providing quality assurance expertise and recommendations in training programme development and validation.
Supporting and developing the active inclusion functions in ETBs in consultation with relevant stakeholders, and developing best practice policies and guidelines.
Supporting and developing the strategy and policy functions in ETBs in consultation with relevant stakeholders, and developing best practice policies and guidelines.
Supporting and developing the planning, resources and reporting functions in ETBs in consultation with relevant stakeholders, and developing best practice policies and guidelines.
