Rachel, a graduate of the National College of Ireland, completed her undergraduate studies in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management in 2000 and her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at the South East Technological University in 2019. Ms. Byrne has almost twenty years experience working in human resources in the Education sector.  Professionally, her role as the HR/IR Governance Officer in the Education and Training Boards Ireland (ETBI) is wide and varied but ultimately very rewarding. It facilitates and supports staff to develop professionally to lead and advance their roles in education, training, and youth work in Ireland.  Her role is critical in attracting, recruiting, and retaining the highest possible calibre of staff to create a performing and diverse workforce.  She is passionate about working with staff to promote a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of life in ETBI.

Jordan Eustace

Jordan, a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and Universitat de Barcelona completed her BA in Modern Languages in 2021, and her MSc in Global Challenges for Sustainability in 2023.
Jordan has experience working in international hybrid teams in both educational and professional settings and is skilled in intercultural communication and project management, she became a Certified Associate of Project Management in 2021. Jordan is particularly interested in the environment and exploring sustainable practices and initiatives within the area of HRM.
She is passionate about ensuring staff wellbeing and development through adopting a focus on equality, diversity, and inclusion within ETBI.
