Education and Training Boards Ireland’s EDI Committee was established in September 2024 to foster a more inclusive environment, promote equal opportunities, and address systemic issues related to equity and diversity for all staff in ETBI.

The EDI Committee:

• organises training programs and events to raise awareness about diversity and inclusion issues.
• encourages open dialogue and collaboration, promoting a sense of belonging among all members of the organisation. 
• works to ensure fair and equitable treatment for all staff in ETBI.
• leads in the creation and implementation of EDI action plans.
