Exploring Inclusion and Promoting Good Practice: Lessons from Inspection (Post-Primary)
This webinar is chaired by Dr Johanna Fitzgerald, ETBI National Coordinator for Inclusion, Special Education and Research. Dr Brian Mac Giolla Phadraig, Assistant Chief Inspector in the Department of Education and Youth, draws on inspection findings to explore understandings of inclusion and various enablers of inclusive practices in schools. This webinar also outlines the new approach to inspection of provision for students with special educational needs in post-primary schools which was introduced in September 2025. The webinar is particularly suitable for post-primary senior leadership teams and SENCOs.
