Soláthraíonn an Fíorcheartaitheoir Seachtrach deimhniú neamhspleách ar mheasúnú cothrom agus comhsheasmhach ar fhoghlaimeoirí de réir riachtanais an QQI agus tuairiscíonn sé ar chomhsheasmhacht thorthaí an mheasúnaithe le caighdeáin náisiúnta.
Tá taithí Fíordheimhnithe Seachtrach roimhe seo inmhianaithe ach níl sé riachtanach. Ba cheart go mbeadh taithí ag daoine leasmhara ar chláir a sheachadadh nó a mheasúnú as a dtagann dámhachtainí QQI, nó saineolas gaolmhar tionscail (5 bliana).
