Launching tomorrow: Education & Training Boards Ireland, in partnership with Educate Together, is pleased to share a landmark new resource for initial teacher education in Ireland.
The Aitheantas Framework provides a nationally recognised structure to support teacher preparedness in Ethical, Multi‑Belief and Values Education (EMBVE). Developed collaboratively with all five primary initial teacher education providers, the Framework equips pre‑service teachers with the core competencies required to teach in equality‑based and multi‑denominational school settings, including the patrons’ programmes, Goodness Me Goodness You and Learn Together.
This Framework represents an important step forward in ensuring new graduates are confident, well prepared, and supported to teach in increasingly diverse school communities.
