ETBI welcomes the establishment of three Community National Schools in September 2019

Nessa White, General Secretary of ETBI stated “I would like to congratulate Dublin and Dunlaoghaire ETB and Louth and Meath ETB on their success in the recent patronage competition. I am also delighted for the parents and children of Swords and Dunshaughlin who will benefit from the opening of state, multidenominational, co-educational schools in their area.

Community National Schools thrive in the areas they serve, and I have no doubt that these three new schools will be a great success. As well as an ethos based on Excellence in Education, Care, Community and Equality, these schools will benefit from the services provided by their local ETB. ETBs have a great deal of experience in opening new schools and this will be very beneficial in getting the schools ready to receive children by September.”
